Absolutely. Lembit was kind enough to manage the desk part of the time at the last TABSCon, but we have enough staff to cover it if he can't make it.

Great, thanks for the quick answer Pete! I just wanted to make sure before packing up all the games I've already sold plus the ones for the bring and buy..... Smile

Yes, it definitely will be happening. I ran it last time, with Lembit's help, and there are several other TSC members available too.

Regards,
DB

I do and I can give you a ride back to Mississauga. I plan to leave sometime around 5:30pm

It's alright, I spoke to my friend and I will go there myself. I have a car, but he wanted to come along but had time constraints that would prevent me from selling my games.

Is there still a 20 game limit on the bring and buy?

Hi Rob,

I believe it is 10 items per seller now.

Bring and Buy question for you Pete.

I believe the original parameters for the bring & buy were " boardgames and boardgame related items ". Seems reasonable to me, and I am thinking of bring some related items, but fear it may open up the floor.

My related items are - Warbooks. More precisely, OSPREY titles.
This makes sense, actually. As examples, if I am selling Op. Jubilee / Dieppe raid, I would have the Osprey - Canadian Forces in WW II.
Any Osprey title related to a game being sold would be okay, ja?

I do not want to open the Bring & Buy to a used book sale, but Osprey is top-notch, and directly relates to games. Certainly a wargame related item.

Thoughts?

Steve

I did very well at the last tabscon, so I am bringing the full 10 games this time around. Thanks for setting this up!

It will be my first time out to a TABS event and I'll be bringing 2-5 games...

I have a quick question...

I have some Star Wars Clone Strike minis starters and boosters (12 and 12 boxes respectively). I'd imagine that they'd sell easier separately. Would I have to fill out a form for each individual box, or would one form for each be okay and ensure that it clearly states "Per Box, not whole lot" on the form?

If they're sold individually and not as a lot, then they need separate forms. Technically, each person is limited to 10 items/lots per auction.

At the auction I bought a copy of the "Battle of the Bulge" stand-alone module for the Panzer Grenadier series.

I admit I did not look closely at the box or the seller sheet and I might have missed critical info, but the box is missing the game board maps (four 11 x 17 maps) and the rulebook. I don't mind the missing rulebook, but the maps are essential to game play and the game is useless without them; I also cannot imagine any situation where having the maps without the scenario book and game counters (which I have purchased) would be of any use.

If the seller can please contact me by PM to clarify this, I'm sure we could work out what has occurred here - either an oversight by me (not noticing it did not include the maps) or a mistake by the seller in not putting the maps inside the box.

I will cross-post this to the wargames forum for more visibility.
